Finally I have some trail camera pics worth sharing! It's been an interesting summer so far. I've seen a lot of different bucks from the truck while glassing, but not quite as many have been showing up on trail camera.
This buck is fairly decent for this area and would probably be in trouble if he shows up during shooting hours this fall. Last year at this property I didn't see a single buck of this size. Only small 2.5 year old bucks were running around.
There's another big 7 pointer that's similar in size on another property that my buddy Joe and I glassed a few weeks ago. The buck came out about a half hour before dark and bedded in the middle of an open field. Just as the last bit of light was fading away the buck got up and started feeding on some clover.

Nothing on trail cam cause mine does not take photos at night but I have been seeing a lot of does and actually found a scrape already small one from a young buck

ReplyDeleteCapturing animals in the wild is really interesting but you will not be able to do this without using a trail camera. Nice try!
