
Not much info on this one yet. This buck is rumored to be the new Archery Non-Typical State Record in New York. The deer is said to be shot on Long Island and officially gross 218 4/8" and net 210 4/8".
The current Archery Non-Typical State Record was taken by Mark Surdi in 1996 in Erie County. The Surdi buck has 17 points and scores 205 1/8". If this new buck really net's 210 4/8" it will be the current record by 4 3/8".

UPDATE: February 20, 2012 - This buck was taken by Mike Giarraputo on November 3, 2011. It was 2:10pm when Mike heard crunching in the leaves as the buck made his way in. Mike was able to arrow the buck as it walked through an opening and found the buck just 80 yards from where it was shot. The Sufflok County buck has 23 points and officially gross 218 4/8" with three points broken off.
